Information Saved.io collects

When you create an account, Saved.io stores account details such as your email address, password hash, settings, billing status, and API tokens you create.

When you use the app, Saved.io stores the bookmarks, URLs, titles, notes, tags, lists, archived state, and related metadata you choose to save.

Saved.io may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser details, request logs, error logs, and timestamps so the app can be secured, debugged, and kept reliable.

How information is used

Saved.io uses your information to provide the bookmarking service, authenticate your account, process support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, maintain backups, and improve the app.

Saved.io does not sell your personal information or use your bookmark library for advertising.

Payments

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal. Saved.io stores billing status and provider identifiers needed to manage access, but it does not store full card numbers.

Sharing and disclosure

Your bookmarks are private unless you choose to publish or share a list. Saved.io may share information with service providers that help run hosting, storage, email, payments, analytics, logging, security, and support.

Saved.io may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, or to investigate abuse and security issues.

International processing

Saved.io and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Those locations may have different privacy and data protection laws.

Your choices

You can update your account settings, export your bookmarks, create or revoke API tokens, manage webhooks, and delete your account from Settings and Developer.

You can also contact [email protected] to ask for access, correction, deletion, or help with a privacy complaint.

Data retention

Saved.io keeps account and bookmark data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records may be retained for a limited time in backups, logs, fraud prevention records, accounting records, or legal compliance records.

Security

Saved.io uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password and keep API tokens private.

This policy may be updated when Saved.io changes how it handles information. The latest version will be posted on this page.
